Snug Gallery
We recently attended the Creative Degree Shows at Manchester Metropolitan University to look at the new work by this years graduates and also to present our annual Graduate Showcase Award. The standard of work was exceptionally high and initially there was quite a lot of jewellery that was catching our eye. Then we discovered the amazing ceramics of Jill Shaddock. Exquisite pieces built up with layers of coloured slip, they truly took our breath away!
Suffice to say Jill walked away with our award, along with a host of others from other organisations involved and we’ve just learned this week whilst exhibiting at New Designers, Jill has scooped another trio of awards!
We’re really very excited about working with Jill soon on a series of work to showcase at Snug. Watch this space!
